Reverse
Engineering
Using our advanced digital optical measurement equipment, we can quickly and accurately inspect and reverse-engineer your existing worn or damaged seals and provide new parts like-for-like, manufactured from a compatible material selected from the wide range of plastics and elastomers that we hold in stock.

We can work from your technical drawings, 3D files (in a wide range of formats), and even if necessary, hand-drawn sketches. We understand that time is critical to your business and a fast turnaround can be the difference between hitting your production targets, or not.
Our Seals
We can manufacture or source all types of seals for all types of applications – everything from the most basic standard-sized o-ring to bespoke multi-piece hydraulic piston seal assemblies, and beyond. We also source and install stainless steel, hastelloy or elgiloy energising springs, or stainless steel reinforcement rings, if needed to suit your application. We have years of experience producing innovative sealing solutions capable of handling the most demanding environmental constraints – ranging from extremely-low friction laboratory equipment, to ultra-high pressure subsea seals capable of withstanding over 1700 Bar.
Our Service
We are able to quickly adapt and iterate your designs to suit you, allowing us to provide a responsive and reactive service for your design development activities, and will manufacture in quantities ranging from genuine one-off parts for unique applications/trials, through to large scale mass production.
Cheshire Seals & Components can also supply complete seal kits, allowing you to keep stock of all the parts required to perform maintenance of a particular machine or system.
We can produce seals in NORSOK-approved materials for our oil and gas customers.
