From the moment you accept our quote your job will be tracked using our digital production scheduling system, allowing us to track its status with live updates on its progress as it passes from our engineering team to production, inspection, and finally to despatch.
This allows us to provide accurate, up to date information whenever our customers request an update, and in combination with our ERP system ensures we can schedule your work effectively and provide competitive and realistic lead times. Any issues during the manufacture process are instantly highlighted and can be quickly and effectively resolved.
We have robust control of material certification and stock control, allowing us to supply to those customers where evidence of material origin is an order requirement – particularly in the energy sector.
All jobs are signed off with an inspection card, with our machinists checking that dimensions have been achieved, any additional processes (such as installation of threaded inserts) have been completed, and the part has been suitably deburred and cleaned.
Our experienced machinists are trained to use our wide range of calibrated manual metrology tools, and along with our advanced CMM and 3-axis CNC optical measurement equipment we have the confidence to demonstrate we have hit your specification. Cheshire Seals & Components can provide detailed inspection reports when requested to support your own quality process.
We also offer a subcontract independent inspection service, checking and providing inspection reports for your existing components, in order to confirm they are to specification.
